Indianapolis is a neighborhood-based city. With over 100 distinct neighborhoods inside the loop of Indianapolis and over 300 in the greater Indianapolis area.
Our church sits in a particular neighborhood, but our vision is to see, “Indianapolis, as it is in Heaven.” We see that vision coming to life with a movement of Jesus followers gathering around a stage on Sundays and around the tables and in the streets of their neighborhood on a weekly basis.
So, no matter what neighborhood you call home, we invite you to ours on Sundays, with the requisite challenge to go out and reach your neighborhood every other day of the week.
Our church is physically located at The Indianapolis Art Center in the Broad Ripple neighborhood. We feel compelled to serve directly the city of Indianapolis.
Join us on Sundays at 10am.
Absolutely! We’re for the city of Indianapolis. Wherever you live, we’d love for you to join us—in person or online!
Our hope is to see neighbors gathering around the table in neighborhoods all over the city.
If you feel led to be apart of our community, you are welcome here.
Most of our mercy and justice initiatives will simply be taking place in the neighborhoods surrounding us. The invitation for all of our community that we’ll consistently, gently extend is, “would you consider moving inside the loop?”
We feel that the Church is at its best when it is able to live life—daily—together.

Right now, our needs are threefold:
First and foremost, we need your prayer. It takes an immense amount of time, energy, and resources to plant a church from scratch. Would you please pray that we’d see God’s will done in Indianapolis, as it is in Heaven?
Secondly, we could use your financial support. The only way that we’ll be able to succeed is through the generous support of a community of individuals, organizations, and churches who believe in the mission + vision of The Sanctuary. If you’d like to give, you can click here.
Lastly, we’re looking for people to join our team! Singles, couples, families, young and old, black and white. Our prayer is that God would bring to us a team of people who are 1) For the neighborhood and 2) Reflect the neighborhood.
